How to care for your cowhide products 1. Avoid contact with water Leather is not waterproof. If it accidentally gets wet, dry it with a soft cloth and let it air dry at room temperature. Never use a hairdryer or expose it to direct sunlight. 2. Do not use abrasive products Always clean with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Avoid alcohol, chemicals, wet wipes, or harsh cleaners. 3. Moisturize it occasionally Leather is skin: it needs nourishment. Use a special leather cream (colorless and smooth) every 3 to 6 months to prevent it from drying out or cracking. Apply it in circular motions using a dry cloth. 4. Protect it from the sun and extreme heat. Keep it away from heaters, radiators, or prolonged direct sunlight, as it may fade or dry out. 5. Be careful with friction and rubbing.

Daily use can cause marks or wear in areas where it rubs. This is part of the natural process of leather, but you can minimize it by being careful how and where you place or store it. How to store your purses and accessories Store your items in a cloth or non-woven bag, never in plastic. Leather needs to breathe. If it's a purse, stuff it with tissue paper or soft fabric to help it retain its shape. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of it. Leather is unique, just like you.
